Your dollars, safeguarded to banking standards

Trust isn't declared: it's built into the structure. This is how we protect your money and your data.

Funds segregated in the US

Your balances are held under the FBO model at regulated US financial institutions, separate from Notbank's own assets.

KYC/AML verification

Identification and transaction-monitoring processes aligned with US anti-money-laundering regulations.

Encryption and two-factor

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and your account is protected with two-factor authentication (2FA).

Regional track record

Notbank is part of the CryptoMarket group, operating digital financial services in Latin America since 2016.

Your questions, answered

Frequently asked questions about your US dollar account

What is a Same Name FBO account?

It is an account held by a regulated US financial institution for the benefit of the client (For Benefit Of) and titled in the client's own name. Your dollars stay segregated from Notbank's own assets.

What does it mean that the account number is unique?

You get an exclusive account number in your name, along with the bank's routing number, to receive via ACH, wire and SWIFT. It is not shared with other clients or identified by reference, so you can register it with marketplaces, payment processors and employers.

What is POBO and how do SWIFT transfers work?

POBO (Payments On Behalf Of) lets your international SWIFT transfers go out with your name, or your company's, as the originator. You can send and receive dollars in more than 150 countries.

How do I receive dollar payments from abroad?

Share your account number and the bank's routing number as you would with any US account. Funds arrive via ACH, wire or SWIFT into an account in your name.

What do I need to open an account as a business?

Create your Notbank account with your email and a valid ID, and add the company's incorporation documents. Then complete the digital verification (KYC).
